How founders get in

At the 2026 Summit, founders, researchers, investors, policymakers and industry builders gathered across the Frontier Stage, Deep Tech Academy and Pioneers Stage to think and build together. Founders could exhibit and pitch, join interactive sessions, and meet investors and potential partners through Summit networking and Investor Day.

  1. Edition and location: the latest completed Summit was in Amsterdam on 2026-06-11 to 2026-06-12; the previous edition was in Paris in 2025. Hello Tomorrow announced the move from Paris to Amsterdam starting in 2026. The next announced Summit is in Amsterdam on 2027-06-02 to 2027-06-03, with Investor Day on 2027-06-01. No cancellation or postponement was identified in the organiser’s published material.
  2. For the 2027 Global Challenge, submit the free online application at https://apply.hello-tomorrow.org/ by 2026-11-30. The application also enters the team for Deep Tech Pioneer consideration; select a Challenge track and, if relevant, an open corporate track.
  3. Check eligibility: the organiser describes eligible teams as early-stage through the beginning of scale-up, up to Series B, developing science- or technology-based solutions, and with at least two team members. It also lists validation or a proof of concept/prototype, impact and market viability criteria, and excludes subsidiaries or spin-offs of existing companies. Incorporation is not required to apply.
  4. If selected as a Deep Tech Pioneer, update and complete the application for consideration as a finalist. The organiser expects Pioneer selections around late January to early February 2027; finalists pitch at the Summit. At least one member of each finalist team must attend the 2027 Summit Grand Finals or the team may be disqualified.
  5. For attendance without Pioneer selection, purchase a Startup Pass when 2027 ticket sales open; the organiser says 2026 sales have ended and next-edition sales will open later. First-time Deep Tech Pioneers receive a Summit ticket without paying the ticket price, subject to a refundable €99 deposit per ticket (2027 programme; refunded if the attendee attends).
